Track Rules

  1.     Upon arrival, all participants must register their frequency (Spectrum users still must state the use of a Spectrum system) and pay the track fee, prior to any run, even if you are not participating in the elimination rounds.  Cost is $10.00 for Top Fuel and Unlimited, $8.00 for all other classes.

  2.     No consumption or use of alcohol beverages or illegal substances on the premises.

  3.     No littering on the premises.  Before departing, always clean your pit area and discard waste in the garbage bags provided.

  4.     Maintain responsibility and control of children and pets at all times.

  5.     If you do not have a frequency pin, you do not turn on your radio.  If you run your car without a frequency indicator, you will be disqualified (with Spectrum radios being the exception).

  6.     Lane choice is awarded to the quickest qualifier.

  7.     Do not come in contact with the center dividing line or touch any part of the timing system during qualifying or eliminations.  You will be disqualified from that race.

  8.     You must cross the finish line to be declared a winner, even if your opponent is disqualified, has a red light, or breaks out.

  9.     First or worst rules apply---but the Track Marshall makes the final call.
(example:  If a driver contacts the center line, and his opponent red-lights—the first driver loses because contacting the center line is worst than a red light.  If both drivers commit the same offense, like a red light, the first driver that commits the offense is disqualified from that race.  If who was first cannot be determined, the Track Marshall makes the call.)

  10. If track maintenance is occurring and individuals are on the track, no cars are allowed on the track, past the starting line, until the Track Marshall re-opens the track.

  11. In the event of a tie, system failure or discrepancy, the Track Marshall has the final say.

  12. You must compete with the car you qualified with.  No driver substitutions allowed after qualifying/eliminations have begun.

  13. The Track Marshall will announce all races.  When your race comes up, you will have 60 seconds to stage your car.  If your car malfunctions of fails to start, the other racer will be instructed to stage his car at the end of the 60 seconds.  If you are competing in the Bracket class, you may continue to repair/start your car.  You will only be disqualified from that race.  You may then stage your car for the next race.  If again, your car fails, the other racer will be instructed to stage his car.

  14. No car substitutions allowed after qualifying/eliminations have begun.  You must race the same car throughout the event.  Motor swaps are allowed.

  15. Track records:  All records must backed up within 2% and you must do it on the same day or within the same event (including National events).  If an apparent record is run, that car must be weighted and measured immediately after the run to validate that it falls within it's class specification.  If the car fails to report to the starters location to be inspected, no official record will be awarded, but a personal best will be noted.  Records can be achieved during qualifying and eliminations only.  Person best will be recognized at all times, but officials must be notified.  All records will be cleared at the end of the calendar year.
